  Up!
School has shifted to a new server.

Due to incompatible configuration files of our .php files with the new server, the site does not work properly.

However, with a lot of effort and help from Safi, the site is now up and running properly (mostly) or I would not have posted this announcement!

Three cheers =D

  Happy New Year : 2008

It's a new year, and a new start for each and every one of us.

We will all grow one year older this year and it is an undeniable fact.

The new batch of Secondary 1 members will soon be part of us. Sec 1s have become Sec 2s now, becoming seniors of the new members. Sec 2s have become Sec 3s in long pants, and will move into office to take charge in running the club, setting the direction for us and leaving a legacy they want to leave behind for future generations of IT Club members to follow.

The Sec 3s have become Sec 4s, concentrating on their 'O' levels this year. We should give them our fullest support in living up to their expectations and pursuing their dream JC/Polytechnic.

The Sec 4s have graduated and we will all miss them badly. Your batch bonded together like a family and worked together to bring IT Club to greater heights. We admire your brotherhood and achievements/accomplishments and hope to achieve like what you have done, or even better.

We will miss you, class of 2007:
Safi
Ryan
Gordon
Buddin
Shi Wei

Good Job to all sec 2s(2008)with the spreading of the word about IT Club and also to everyone else.

Anyway,

There is going to be a final games day for the holidays since the last one didn't go so well.

Gamesday will be on 31st December 2007.All IT Club Members will be required to come to the clubroom by 9am sharp. If you are late for more than 10 minutes, you might get a nasty forfeit depending on those who came on time.

SO PLEASE come early.

We'll have soccer at the pitch hopefully it won't be occupied by anyone else first.

Thanks

We will be printing posters to spam all over the school.

  VICOMP 2007
On the 25th April 2007, 3 members from Victoria School IT Club participated in the 18th Annual VICOMP Competition 2007.

Facing tough competitors such as Raffles Institution, Anglo-Chinese School (Independent), Catholic High School and especially Hwa Chong Institution who has been champions for many of the 18 years, and tough challenges in the preliminary round set by VJC, we did not manage to get into the final round. However, we managed to clinch the Merit Award in Problem Solving for the top non-finalist school in that Problem Solving round.

The team would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Alvin You, our teacher in-charge, the rest of the club for their unwavering support. The team would also like to thank for all those who have supported us one way of another.

As Mr Maran always says, "We can always do better."

We will work hard and strive to do better next year.

Thank you and nil sine labore.
