The Victoria School National Education Video Competition (NEVC) continues this year with the theme “Youths”.

The competition aims to promote National Education among primary school students while allowing them to explore the vast possibilities in mass media.
  • To engage students in learning and understanding more about Singapore. This is inline with the National Education objectives.
  • To promote interest among primary school students to produce short films, as the media is increasingly becomes an important mode of communication and a prominent resource for information, allowing them to learn more about technology in a mass media environment.
  • To develop teamwork, co-operation and leadership together with communication skills among primary school students.
  • To cultivate creativity and thinking skills in primary school students.
  • To enhance their filming/computer animation techniques and develop skills in these areas.
  • To encourage creative expression among students.
