National Education Web Design Competition 2006

To engage students in learning and understanding more about Singapore. This is inline with the National Education objectives.
To raise the awareness of primary school students about the safeguarding of Singapore and the importance of law and order in our society that makes it what it is today.
To let the students know the difference of what is right and wrong, by working on topics such as gangs, drug trafficking, stealing, etc. By researching on such topics, they get a hands-on experience iced with the in-depth knowledge they may gain from the research process.
To promote interest among primary school students to design web pages and create web content, as the Internet increasingly becomes an important mode of communication and a prominent resource for information, allowing them to learn more about technology in an IT oriented environment.
To develop teamwork, co-operation and leadership together with communication skills among primary school students.
To cultivate creativity and thinking skills in primary school students.
