Our Topic

We have chosen Category 3: Businesses and Organizations. Coming back to the theme, “Achieve & Unite” and make the world a safer, better and friendlier place of us to live in, we have chosen this topic to showcase 3 organizations that have helped Singapore greatly during the Sars crisis.

One of the many reasons that we chose this topic is probably because of these organizations’ contributions during the Sars outbreak. Not only have their actions touched our hearts but also saved countless lives in Singapore. This website is also made to recognize their efforts in making Singapore a safer and better place to live in.

More About Our Content

The content of this website will give you a glimpse of how 3 different types of oraganizations helped Singapore cope with the Sars crisis.

The 3 organizations are namely :
• Hospital - Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH)
• Airport - Singapore Changi Airport  (SCA)
• Singapore Government - Ministry of Health (MOH)

(Note: The abbreviations on the link are based on the names of the 3 organisations)

For each of the organizations, we will review their actions which helped us overcome the Sars crisis, their personnel who saw Singapore through these troubles while risking their lives, the equipments that have made jobs easier and finally the conclusion of each chapter.

From our content, we hope that we are able to let you understand more concisely about what exactly goes on behind the scenes, to make this rough journey through Sars a smooth one.
