   Introduction

Since Singapore’s independence from the British in 1965, the Singapore government has recognized the importance of tourism and has since worked hard through out the years to create and promote man made and natural tourist attractions.

At present tourism is an important factor that keeps our economy running. Over the last few years the Singapore government has come up with bold new plans for the future which include making Singapore a tourist hub. These include projects like the Esplanade and Sentosa cove.

Through out this webpage you will be introduced to many different tourist attractions in Singapore and know why Singapore is uniquely Singapore.
